dear student,
when the students who are willing to take the admission in a particular course in Banaras Hindu University but could not on the basis of their rank then he opted out to pay the extra fee which is called the Paid seats system. The paid fee is higher than the actual fee. However, the admission under these seats is also done on the basis of merit list

There are seats that the campus gives for people who come from entrance exams and then there are seats that the students get direct admission from and pay extra
That's what paid seats mean
