As you are preparing for NEET, you should aware of the fact that the cut off for each year for the examination changes based on the number of students appearing in the examination and the difficulty level of the question paper. However, to give you an overall idea of the total number of marks you should aim for, the state cut-offs for 2017 for each category might help. In 2017, the cut-off marks for various categories for admission in Tamil Nadu are: Open category-374, Backward Category-296, Scheduled Caste-193, and Scheduled Tribe-168.
