dear aspirant,
There is revised regulation based on attempts this year it can be categorized in following ways:
- If you have passed class 12th in 2017 and have taken/not taken the JEE Main that year, you can appear for JEE Main 2019 January and April session. This is your last attempt of the exam.
- If you have passed class 12th in 2018 and have taken/not taken the JEE Main that year, you can appear for JEE Main 2019 January and April session as well as JEE Main 2020. This is your second last attempt of the exam.
- If you are an appearing candidate (class 12th board exams) in 2019, you can take the JEE Main both session exams in 2019, 2020 and even 2021.
hope it helped.
Dear Shree, Yes you may eligible for JEE Advance but you should again clear the 2020 JEE main Exam then you should able or eligible for giving JEE Advance and it takes your 2018 board marks. So you have no need to worry about that and only focus at you 2020 JEE main and I'm sure you may get a pass in that and then you ready for Advances.
All the best.
Hi aspirant
As you have not given jee advance in the current year of board 2018 therefore you are not eligible for 2020 jee advance because as per the rules of jee advance you have two chances given to write advance ,one in the current year of board and another in drop year therefore your chance of writing 2020 jee advance is not possible at all.
thankyou
