i belong to the obc category. if i fill jee main forms as obc-ncl but fail to get the ncl certificate during admission then will my admission get canceled entirely or will i be able to take admission on basis of my general rank?

Hello Paarth, Greetings!
Well, at that time of counseling of a round, all your documents and certificates will be checked. If you can’t produce the relevant certificate at that time, you will be disqualified from that category. But, you will not be offered a seat in the open category in that round since you did not figure in the queue for the open category in the that round.
Now, you will be considered an open category student provided you are above the open category cut-off. Next, if you do qualify as an open category student, in the next subsequent rounds you will join the queue as an open category student and will be offered a seat if one becomes vacant.
