Hello sir,

Candidates must have completed/appearing his/her 10th and 12th from the state.
Candidate must possess a valid domicile in the state.
Candidate should possess a residency proof of the state.

If you have all the three criteria completed which seems to be good by the information you have provided here, then you son is 100% eligible for the state counselling and will be considered as local student.
