I didn't fill ews category in application form of neet2019. But I have ews certification. Can I indicate it at the time of councelling?

Dear Shalini

Candidates cannot alter their categories once the registration process is over. However, the correction window was also provided after the registration for the same including other things. If you missed that also, then unfortunately you can't mention your category as ews during counselling as the merit list is prepared based on different categories mentioned by each candidates.

Though, in case, a candidate belonging to any reserved caste but due to unability of producing the proof of reservation during the counselling, he/she will be considered as general by the authorities.

Yes, you can surely mention your category as EWS as the notice by NTA dated 25 april 2019 clarifies that the candidate belonging to EWS category can mentioned the same at the time of registration for counselling.The qualifying percentile for same category is 50 percentile and counselling will be conducted for the seats for EWS quota as a separate category.
