i dropped a year and could not make it into nit this year i am thinking of preparing for jee main- jan 2020 is this a right decision??

If you are certain about your abilities, then I would definately encourage you to work hard for JEE Mains 2020. For that purpose, you can follow the given tips as it's an important exam and you have to approach the exam and start the preparation with a conscious mind. These are-
1.management of time
2. focus on the topics depending on their weightage in the exam
3.solve the sample papers and take maximum number of mock tests on a regular basis
4.Knowing the topic wise analysis from the past year papers is another handy and useful tool while preparing for JEE Main
