I filled for mu fresh passport application, but wrote my names as Amisha Singh.
But its written as Amisha Ashish Singh in other documenst.
Will they reject my application? I have paid for the appointment.

Hello Student,

Do not worry, A name mismatch does not always mean your passport application will be rejected. If your application mentions "Amisha Singh" while your other documents have "Amisha Ashish Singh" the passport Seva Kendra (PSK) officer will verify your documents.

If the discrepancy is noticed, you may be asked the correct the application or submit supporting documents. Minor corrections can sometimes be made by the PSK during document verification, but if the change is significant you may be advice to submit a fresh application.

It is the best carry all your original documents and explain the situation honestly during your appointment.
