I finished 10th .Not much good in maths .which group should I take in plus one.suggest some courses with good scope in future.
Hello Hina,Greetings from Careers360.com
In General, there are three main streams or groups after class 10th in India.
1.Biology (for medical aspirants)
2.Commerce
3.Humanities/Arts
First of all, start with identifying your core strengths and interests. Choose the stream that best matches your skills. When you follow the right path, you will surely embark on a prospective future ahead. Get a comprehensive knowledge about the available streams and then introspect yourself with respect to each field. This will help you decide the right stream for yourself. It is, however, evident that most students follow the crowd, leaving behind their true passions. Hence, in case you are planning to choose a stream just because your favorite buddy is going for it, then stop! Take a moment to have a second thought about your choice.Make sure to choose a stream that matches your own interest, potential, and ability.
If you want to choose a course which does not have mathematics, you have many options! So do not worry.I will let you know about the various fields which does not require mathematics as well as the ones which would have a good scope in the future.
1.Medical science (PCB alone is enough)
2.Commerce (Commerce, accountancy, economics, computer science/business maths)-if you choose this group, you can opt for a Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or even appear fr exams like CA,ACS,ACCA and so on.
3.Humanities(includes subjects like history, political science, art and culture)-if you are aspiring for UPSC or state public service exams, then you can go for it!
Hope this helped you. All the best!
