Hi,
Given all the major changes that have been introduced to NEET over the past week, what with the NTA replacing the CBSE and NEET about to be held twice a year from 2019 onwards, many of the old rules are not expected to apply. From 2018, students will be able to appear for NEET twice a year, in either February or May or both, and will have one of eight shifts to choose from each time. The syllabus and pattern will also remain the same. The exam will however be held as a Computer Based Test in online mode.
In 2018, NEET did not have any attempts limit. So it can be assumed that this rule will remain in place and all candidates below the age of 25 will be able to write NEET atleast twice a year. For now however, we do not know if any other total attempts limit or any other eligibility restrictions will be introduced, since many of the rules are still being framed. As long as you are under the age of 25 years, you will ideally be allowed to appear in 2019 as well so don't worry about that. Your previous attempts are not expected to be counted or to hamper your chances of appearing as long as you are within the age limit.
All the best!
I would like to tell you that YES you are eligible to give NEET exam in 2019. But this will be the last attempt for you as you can NEET exam only 3 times. So prepare well and score good. Do practice a lot.
All the best. I hope this was helpful to you.
