Hello Aspirant,
If we go through the analysis of marks Vs Percentile Vs rank for JEE-Main 2020 then according to the rank mentioned by you in the question your percentile is expected to be in the range of 87-90 .
You can check out marks Vs ranks Vs Percentile from the link given below :-
https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-marks-vs-percentile
Or
You can also use JEE-Main Rank Predictor to predict your rank and percentile :-
Based on previous year's cut-off trends we can help you with the expected qualifying cut-offs for this year :-
- Common Rank List (CRL) - 90- 95 Percentile
- GEN-EWS - 70- 75 Percentile
- Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) - 70- 75 Percentile
- Scheduled Caste (SC) - 50- 55 Percentile
- Scheduled Tribe (ST) - 40- 45 Percentile
- PwD - 1-2 Percentile
Now if you belongs to General category then there are low chances for you to get qualified but you are on extreme because the difference of just 1 percentile can make you either qualified or not for JEE-Advance so we have to wait for official release of final cut-offs.
Note that in above table it is not the actual cut-off for JEE-Main 2021 but expected on the basis of previous year's analysis. You can check out previous year's cut-off trends from the link given below :-

Hello
Which category do you belong to?
Actually, whether you will qualify jee main to be eligible for JEE advanced or not depends upon
- Category
- Your percentile
I would like to clear one thing that
It's a misconception that you need to be in top 2.5 lakh to be eligible for jee advanced rather JEE main qualifying cut off for different categories is such that only a total of around 2,50,000 students become eligible to appear for JEE Advanced examination.
For example,
Jee main 2020 qualifying cut off to be eligible for jee advanced for st category was 39.0696101 percentile which is around common rank of 6-7 lakh . While a general candidate with 85 percentile which is around 1.5 lakh - 1.7 lakh i. e in the top 2.5 lakh was still not eligible because Jee main 2020 qualifying cut off to be eligible for jee advanced for general category was 90.3765335 percentile.
So, to be eligible for jee advanced you need to meet jee main qualifying cut off percentile for your category.
It's quite difficult to predict JEE mains qualifying cutoff to be eligible for JEE advanced examination as it keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like :-
*number of students that appeared in the jee main exam,
*kind of marks obtained by them ,
*toughness level of the jee main examination for different shift etc.
But yes,
When we go through previous year trend then
JEE mains 2021 expected qualifying CUT OFF percentile to be eligible for JEE advanced is given below for different categories on the basis of past year trends :
. . JEE MAIN CUT OFF PERCENTILE
