Hi,

140 marks in JEE Main would translate to a rank of 35,000-40,000. The cutoff rank for Special Round-2 for NIT, Trichy was approx. 28,000 for Civil Engineering through female quota. So, you are on the borderline to secure a seat in NIT, Tiruchirappalli. You must also apply to other NITs as well.
