I got 166 (General category) marks in NEET . Can I get good private college at this marks? Please mention colleges with amount .
Answer (1)
Private Medical Colleges have 3 types of seats. First is A Category seats which are contributed to the Government and the admissions to these seats are based on State Counselling by the respective State Authorities. Now because the admissions are conducted through State Level Counselling, 166 is a very low score for General Category. You cannot get a seat in this quota. The 2nd Category is B Category seats which are also called Management Quota Seats and they are filled through Direct Admissions by contacting the College directly. Here you may have a chance and the fees is usually nothing less than 40 lakhs. The last Category is NRI seats Category and you cannot apply for that. Now for you, the way to get a seat in Private Colleges is through Management Quota.
