I GOT 200000 LAKH RANK IN KCET IN ENGINEERING OBC 2A

With a KCET rank of 2,00,000 and 2A category , you can still get engineering seats, but mostly in core branches and some lower-demand specializations. Top colleges like UVCE, NIE Mysuru, BVB/KLE Hubballi, and DSCE are generally not realistic at this rank for regular engineering branches. Their cutoffs close much earlier.

More realistic options include:

• Government Engineering College, Chamarajanagar
• Government Engineering College, Hassan
• PES College of Engineering, Mandya (some core branches)
• SDM College of Engineering & Technology, Dharwad (select branches)
• MVJ College of Engineering, Bengaluru
• Acharya Institute of Technology, Bengaluru
• New Horizon Institute of Technology and Management colleges with lower-demand branches.

Branches you should target:

• Civil Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE)
• Automobile Engineering
• Industrial Engineering
• Biotechnology (in some colleges)

Your 2A reservation can improve your chances compared to General Merit, especially in later counselling rounds.
