I got 2828 rank in gate 2018 in ME under general category so I am not in a position to admit in psus so is it better to repeat gate 2019

If you dont want to pursue M.Tech then you can go for GATE 2019 with more effort and hard work. you have also option to go for Private Company. If you add this achievement to his resume, then it will give you a lead. you can secure a good job first. after that you may continue Preparation for GATE 2019. you can also Join Weekend batches for GATE 2019 Coaching. If you think that you have potential  and you can do better than this then there is no point to compromise.

You can also pursue MBA on basis of GATE 2018 Score.
