Sorry but you have to try private colleges
There is very low chance in getting govt College.
Though there is less hope in BDS courses
The cutoffs are higher as the competition is cutthroat nowadays.
Anyway wait till last round . Be confident.
You can get into good private colleges for sure
Your chances for admission in a government college are not much even if you are in some quota. It maybe possible that if the seats are not filled, you can get a place in one of the colleges you like but then there is no compulsion of getting the branch you would want to get into. It may sound okay if you are in a government college but if it is not in the branch of your choice, it may get difficult later. You have to make your decision wisley. If not in a government college, get into a good private college. A lsit of those can be provided to you according to the place. Don't compromise on the branch.
