Dear Vikrant, in 2017 under General Category for State Quota, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College gave a seat to 483 marks. The cut offs change every year and are dependant on various factors like top NEET score, total no.of seats available, no.of candidates appearing for the exam and difficulty of the exam. While 440 might be a less score  we would suggest you to wait until the official answer key has been released for weighing your options.

Unfortunately 440 is not enough to fetch you a government college in Himachal pradesh.  You can definitely get into private medical college like Maharishi Markandeshwar Medical College and Hospital, Solan in govt seat as the cutoff in 2017 was 408. Cutoffs vary every year, so I recommend you use this college predictor to know which college you can get.
