Hi,
First of all congratulations on getting this score in your first attempt! Looking at previous statistics it all depends on your category and the rank you have received. According to last year's selection Thanjavur Medical College's opening rank was 1935 and closing rank was 4562 for Round 1 counselling. However, I would recommend you to still register yourself for the counselling process and explore your options for other medical colleges as well. In fact one may be able to secure admission here based on his/her 12th examination marks or as they call it merit-based admission. If you have secured a good percentage in range of 90% above in 12th, try to see if you can apply for merit-based admission. Generally, many admissions in state of Tamil Nadu are done on basis of 12th marks, see if that option is open as well.
Hope this helps.
Good luck!
Hello Vaishnavi
You have not mentioned about your category and about state quota or All India Quota.
2018 All India quota cut off:
UR-557
SC- 557
ST- 407
2018 state quota cut off:
OC-428
BC-404
SC- 297
ST- 249
So according to last year's cut off if you are having Tamil Nadu domicile then you will definitely secure a seat in Thanjavur Medical College.
