i got 488 marks and 226562 rank in all india.do you think I could get mbbs seat?

If you belong to general category then it seems difficult for you to get mbbs seat with 488 marks. Though 488 score is a good score but this year cut off neet is too high.

Cut off changes every year. It depends upon many factors including number of students who appeared in exam , Toughness level of exam, number of seats available, student's performance and previous year's cut off etc.

For general category candidate cut off is 50th percentile ie score between 720-164.

For sc, st and obc category it is 40th percentile ie score between 163 -129

This year's cut off is too high.  Cut off neet 2024 for general category candidate is 50th percentile ie score between 720-164.  For SC/ST/OBC it is 40th percentile,  score between 163- 129
