I Got 4978 rank in jee mains paper 2 and got 72% in CBSE class 12 will I get any NIT or only NIT trichy by home state quota I'm BC category.

• One needs to secure minimum 75% in 10+2 examinations if he/she belongs to General or OBC candidate ( 10% relaxation for SC/ST and PWD candidates )
• Should be in top 20 percentile of his boards.

If you fulfil any of these conditions, then you are eligible to take admission in NITs, IIITs and GFTIs.
As far as the admission is concerned, there are not much chances of NIT-Trichy for you.
However you have good chances of some other good government colleges such as SPA.

For your rank in OBC category,  you rank is not enough to fetch any seat in any of NITs whether you have homestate or not, you have no chances. The closing rank is much higher than the rank you have got. So you can go for other colleges than NITs.
