i got 51000 obc rank my home state is andhra can i get atleastone of nit mechanical branch pls reply

Hello,
As per your rank in JEE Main you won't be able to get in any NITs in any department but I'll still recommend you to go for state level counseling like MP, Maharastra, Odisha etc. The cut-off for mechanical engineering in lower NITs as per last year for OBC quota for other states goes to approx 7000, For example the cut-off in NIT Durgapur in 2019 for mechanical engineering was 6103 for other state and 28474 for home state. Candidates have an advantage in applying in NITs through home State quota.
