i got 7206 rank in jee mains paper -2,and i belongs to general category,and i got 220 marks in this paper ,could i get in any one of the nit

Considering previous year cutoff, for a general category you need to have at least rank less than 3000 to get admission in NIT, with rank around 7200 it would be tough.
