i got 73 marks and rank - 7614 in general category, Woman quota and mumbai domicile. can i get in any NLU

Based on the current CLAT 2025-26 trends, securing a seat with a rank of 7614 in the General Category in a National Law University(NLU) is a little challenging. However, it is not impossible considering your Woman Quota and Maharashtra Domicile. As per the current trends here is an assessment of your chances:

1. Maharashtra National Law Universities( MNLUs): The "All India General" ranks are usually higher for the three NLUs in Maharashtra, but having a Domicile+ Woman Quota stretches the closing rank significantly in the MNLU Mumbai, MNLU Nagpur, and MNLU Aurangabad .
2. Lower-Tier and Newer NLUs: with a rank of 7614, one must closely follow the following NLUs like MNLU Aurangabad , NLU Tripura , DBRANLU Sonipat, and CNLU Patna; during the " Vacant seat " notification.
3. Seat Matrix for Women ( General Domicile): Most NLUs offer a 30% horizontal reservation for women. Therefore, with a rank of 7614, the competition for you is quite smaller.

However you may still have a small chance in newer or Lower-ranked NLUs if seats remain vacant in later counseling rounds, especially under women reservation. Final chances depend on round - wise cutoffs and seat movement, so keep checking counselling updates regularly.
