I got 79 percentile in jee can i give jee advanced,general category? How to apply for Gen-EWS?

Well,brother it depends.
If you had appeared in the JEE mains as only a general category then you cannot expect to qualify for JEE advanced. AS the cut-off was 89.75%ile
Though if you appeared as GEN-EWS category then you have marginally but cleared the cut-off in that category and eligible ot appear in JEE advanced. As the cut off was 78.217%ile
