i got 87 percentile in jee mains and my category rank is 6451 shoul i get top 10 nit colleges

Hello, you have not mentioned in which category you belong to
And at this rank it looks difficult to get top Nit, this also depends on cutoff which changes every year so,
Apply for Jossa counseling and then for Csab counseling.
Wait till spot round of counseling.
May be if you get any top Nit branches would be lower like civil, mechanical ,production, biotechnology , Metallurgy .
If you have any home state quota in any of the top Nit may be some chances can be there.
