I got 89.36 percentile in January from OBC. can you tell me the eligible NIT colleges ?
You haven't mentioned the State you belong to. This is important because the cut offs are different for Home State Candidates and Other State Candidates.
To caculate your rank with the help of your percentile, we should use the formula:
(100-your total percentile)*869010/100. Going by this formula, your rank will be 92462. Now this is for January session. If the no.of Candidates appearing for JEE Mains April session is increased to 12,00,000 then your final rank is calculated using the formula: (100 - your total score) X 12,00,000/100.
With this rank, chances in good branches might in NITs might be less even with OBC reservation. But should you plan on appearing for JEE Advanced, you will qualify as the expected qualifying percentile is 85 and above. But for checking your chances at NITs, please help us with your Home State.
