STATE OF ELIGIBILITY IS THE STATE FROM WHICH YOU HAVE PASSED YOUR CLASS 12. Now Coming to your question, If you mention your state of eligibility wrong then your jee mains rank will come as usual and you will get your rank also. But when you will go at RC for verification then they will came to know this thing.(Specially if you are applying for home state) This will lead to cancellation of your seat which you got from Jossa counselling.
