i got 978 marks in intermediate which catagory should i get?

That is an excellent marks you got in intermediate but i am little confused about your question you have asked. Based on your intermediate studies you can pick an further programs. There are list of programs you can opt for after 12th or intermediate studies.

2. Diploma or ITI programs.
3. Chartered account programs.
4. National Defense and Naval Academy Programs.
5. Aviation and Airline cabin crew Academy.
6. National Police Services.
7. Architecture and Fine arts program.
8. Pharmacy and Medical Programs.
9. Space Technology programs.
10. Fashion Technology,
11. Radio and Disco Jockey.
12. Business and Finance Programs.

and many more. But it depends on the subjects which you opted in 12th standard. For example if you picked Physics, Chemistry and Biology, you can opt for medical programs such as MBBS course.
