I got 9k rank in neet UG, general category, domicile of jharkhand. I want a college with no bond but most of the colleges that I do want would have seats available in the stray rounds. Should I take the risk of going through counseling till stray rounds for these seats in AIQ ?
Hello Dear Student,
With an AIR of around 9,000 in NEET UG , General category , and Jharkhand domicile , you are in a strong position for MBBS admission through the All India Quota (AIQ) .
If your priority is a college with no compulsory service bond , you can consider waiting for later rounds, as some such colleges may have vacancies in the mop-up or stray vacancy rounds . However, relying only on the stray round is risky because:
- The number of vacant seats is limited.
- Seat availability changes every year.
- Competition for no-bond colleges is usually high.
Hope it helps!
