i got aeee rank of 8963 could i get cse in chennai campus

CSE is the most demanded branch in this university, and thus the competition is very high. Also the cutoff varies every year based on different factors like
Total number of seats available
Performance of candidates in AEEE
Previous years cutoff
Difficulty level of the paper
Total number of students appeared for exam

Based on your rank and following Previous years trends  the closing rank for CSE is 1813 for open quota and 13801 for state quota. Thus you can get CSE if and only if you have state quota. Best of luck.
