i got ews7.5k and general 46k can I get seat in nit

According to previous year last round cutoffs and trends the maximum rank in other state quota of EWS category under whihc EWS candidate got admission in NIT is around 5.5k but your rank is 7.5 k so it would be impossible for you to get admission in NIT under other state quota.But you can check your chances by applying HOME State quota and check rank range at below article.

Your chances in IIIT and GFTI are so high so you can also try that and even go for CSAB special couseling.

As you have secured 46000 rank in JEE mains 2020 from general category and 7500 rank in ews category, then with much rank you can definitely get a seat in NITs.
Even from your EWS category the chances you can get a seat in any NIT.

Now if you belong from home state of some nits then by your home state quota you can get some of the good Nits (by your general category) like NIT Raipur, NIT Jalandhar, NIT Silchar, nit hamirpur, etc.

But if you belong from other state then you can get some low nits (from your general category) like :-

Nit Sikkim
Nit Meghalaya
Nit Manipur
Nit Mizoram
Nit arunachal pradesh
Nit Srinagar
Nit Nagaland

But you cannot get some top nits because for that you must have to secure at least under 20000 general category rank or precisely saying, you must have to score under 10000 general category rank to secure a seat into some of the top nits like NIT Trichy, NIT Warangal, nit rourkela, etc
