I got obc ncl 4168 rank in jee mains 2020, but not get advanced rank, not participated in present nits counciling. next year I eligible for advanced in same qualified rank and in this rank participate nits counciling 2021 possible or not.

Dear Student,

If you give JEE Mains then you will get a score/rank. This score is valid only till the JOSAA counselling. This means that JEE Mains score is valid only for 1 year. If you get admission within the counselling then it is good otherwise you have to give JEE Mains again in the next year to get admission in NIT's. This year rank will not be treated in the next year JEE Mains.

Now as per your rank you can easily get a seat in some NIT. Also you have good chances to get branches like ECE, EE, Mechanical in some good NIT on the basis of your reserved category .But the rank of this year JEE Mains does not mean anything in the next year.

The next year you will be treated like any other normal student and to get any rank you have to give JEE Mains again.
