The base qualification for UG courses is a Higher Secondary Certificate, for PG programs, up-and-comers should have a four year college education.

For understudies looking for a PhD certificate, a postgraduate certificate is required.

SASTRA will apportion 30% of its complete B.Tech. seats to understudies from Trichy and Thanjavur for the year considering COVID-19 pandemic.

SASTRA concedes 20% (10% each from Trichy and Thanjavur) and for the year alone, the extra 10% will be drawn dependent on merit from among the understudy candidates who complete their Class X and Class XII in the Thanjavur and Trichy school regions.
