I got very good marks in JEE Main April slot ( 30 marks more than Jan slot) but my percentile just increased to 96.275 to 96.593. Why is it?

Hello there. The reason is being that the exam in April was comparitively easy from that in January due to which many students were able to get better score which effected the percentile due to which all this happened.
