Dear candidate, honestly at the time of placements the interviewer will check your knowledge, your communication skills and your way of talking. However they can ask you for once about your gap but that does not hamper your impression. For your higher studies they will only ask for your Gap certificate not the reason of the gap, so don't panick, go ahead
