I have 70 percentile in the snap exam and 193 score in NMAT. I don't want to pursue my education in Delhi NCR, what colleges can I be selected in?
Hi there,
With a 70 percentile in SNAP, it may be tough to get into top Symbiosis institutes like SIBM Pune or SCMHRD, since their cut-offs are much higher. They often require scores of 90 percentile and above. However, you might still have opportunities at other Symbiosis schools and related institutes with lower cut-offs. For example, SIMC Pune, SSMC Bangalore, and SSBF Pune typically have cut-offs in the 60–80 percentile range, depending on the program and year.
For your NMAT score of 193, this is a decent score but likely below what top NMAT-focused colleges like NMIMS Mumbai or KJ Somaiya require. Their cut-offs are usually higher, often above 200.
With this score, you can consider applying to other MBA or PGDM colleges that accept NMAT scores and have more moderate cut-offs. Some options outside Delhi NCR include ITM Business School in Navi Mumbai, Xavier University in Bhubaneswar, Alliance University in Bangalore, and other mid-tier MBA programs that consider NMAT for shortlisting.
To boost your chances, focus on institutes where your SNAP and NMAT scores are at or above their usual cut-offs, and prepare well for the GD and PI rounds.
Feel free to reach out if you have any other queries, wishing you all the best.
