I have 84.8392186 NTA score in JEE main January 2020. what rank does that put me in? What're my career options?

It's difficult to tell you the exact about the admission possibilities. As per the previous year cutoff, The chances are less to get a seat in NITs, IIITs & GFTIs. You can go for the state level counselling like Punjab, Haryana Etc.

You need to get minimum 90 marks, if you belong to general category. Otherwise, your marks are good enough to get a seat in NITs, IITs and CFTIs. To calculate the rank, you can use this formula. (100-your total mark)×869010/100.

You can use the below formula to find your rank.

100 - your total percentile score is the percentage of people ahead of you. 869010 are the number of candidates appeared for Jan exam. So rank formula is (100 - your total score) X 869010 /100.

So your rank will be around 131748.

You haven't mentioned your category so kindly tell us your category to which you belong to in comment box.Nevertheless, assuming that you belong to General category with such rank it is impossible to get seat in NITs/GFTIs, you may not qualify for JEE advanced too as it requires atleast 85 or above percentile to qualify for JEE advanced.
