I have a doubt in seat allocation process in colleges? for eg: A: rank 67 cse 5th choice B: rank 100 cse 1st choice who will get cse??

Student with rank 67 will be considered first over student with rank 100. But while considering 67th ranked student, as you said he has chosen CSE as 5th preference, so firstly his 1st choice will be considered, if it is available 1st choice will be allotted to him. If there is no seat vacant in 1st choice, then 2nd choice will be considered and so on. If all the four choice does not have any seat only then 5th choice (CSE) will be allotted to him.

But this case has very low chances as with rank 67, you can easily get your 1st or 2nd choice.

Now, after seat allotment to 67th ranked student, they will proceed further. While considering 100th ranked student, if seat in CSE is available, it will be allotted to him as his first choice, if its not vacant then his other choices will be considered.
