I have already got a seat in Delhi in first round. If I want to try some other colleges in round 2 , does it mean I have lost allotted seat?
Hello Yagnik,
Counselling procedure is the process that is conducted after the results of an examination have been declared for admissions to colleges or universities taking admissions through that exam. Most of the counseling procedures involve multiple rounds in an effort to fill maximum possible seats of all the colleges taking admissions through that exam. The counselling procedure is generally culminated by the spot round and then the candidates have to report to their alloted colleges with all the required documents.
As for your question, you can choose the ' FLOAT' option for the seat that is alloted to you. This means that you will atleast get that seat and can also get a seat in a course or college that you have filled higher in the preferrence order above the currently alloted seat.
