You didn't mention your state and category so it is quite difficult to predict your chances of getting admission in NIT.
Still I am considering for all possibility.
You can calculate your approximate rank by using the below formula :
(100-your total percentile score)*869010/100
Let suppose if the number of candidate appeared for the exam in April session increased to 12,00000.
Then your rank will grown little longer.
And formula will be modified as:
(100-your total percentile score)*12,00000/100.
After the treatment of first formula approximate rank at 30.38 percentile would be: 605,004.
(If any category wise rank is not considered)
If we apply home state quota or even other state once then cutoff for all NIT(considering all branches and categories) approximately lie under 50k rank.
Which designate that you are not eligible for having admission in NIT.
I will suggest you to appear for April session exam and do better in it.
Best of luck.
Hi aspirant,
Based on the category, your possibilities to getting into the NITs will vary. Because there are huge difference in the cut off marks between categories like general, OBC, SC, ST and EWS. If you are a general category student, you need to score nearly 90.
Hope it helps.
