i have cleared the cutoff for jee mains,then to join any engg colleges should i pay the fees or they will offer a free seat with jee main score?? plz can anyone tell me in detail about this!

I hope you are doing well. No college takes fees for admission unless you are taking admission through management quota. If you will take admission through merit then you have pay fees for counselling only + normal college fees. Prepare hard for upcoming JEE Mains, you still have time to get better percentile and a better college.

Hello Aspirant, First of all last year qualifying Percentile for JEE Main for different categories are

General Category - 89.75

Gen EWS - 78.21

OBC NCL - 74.31

Scheduled Caste - 54.01

Scheduled Tribe - 44.33

PWD - 0.11

If you qualify JEE Main then it simply means you are eligible just to give JEE Advanced, but you can't get a seat in NIT's with this percentile, for getting a seat in NIT being a General candidate your percentile should be greater than 95.Moro over if you qualify JEE Main then you can get admission in some private colleges, In some them there is some relaxation in Fee based on your marks scored in JEE Main.
