I have completed my 3 year diploma from a government college after completing my 10th standard, do i need to go back and complete my 11/12 for better opportunities or will my diploma be enough? i was thinking to go for btech after this but my father jeep insisting on completing 11/12.
Hello,
If you have completed a 3-year government diploma after Class 10, you generally do not need to complete Class 11 and 12 to pursue higher studies. You can apply for B.Tech through lateral entry (direct admission to the second year) or through state-level entrance processes, depending on your state and the institute.
For better career opportunities, a B.Tech degree carries much more value than going back to complete Classes 11 and 12. Completing 11th and 12th is only necessary if you specifically wish to appear for exams or pursue courses that require a 10+2 qualification.
If your goal is engineering, continuing with B.Tech is the better option. Mention your state and diploma branch if you need guidance on the admission process.
Best wishes.
