I have done my schooling in delhi, but my OBC certificate is issue by UP Gov, under the CENTRAL LIST. My caste also comes under the OBC List for the Delhi Region. Am I able to apply under OBC in JAC Counselling?

Since you have done your schooling from Delhi, you are eligible for the Delhi region quota in JAC Delhi counselling . But for getting OBC reservation benefit, JAC Delhi usually asks for the OBC-NCL certificate issued by the Delhi Government.

So even though your UP certificate is under the Central List and your caste is also included in Delhi’s OBC list, there is still a chance that your category benefit may not be accepted with a UP-issued certificate during document verification.

To stay on the safer side, I would suggest that it would be better to apply for a Delhi-issued OBC-NCL certificate before counselling starts
