As per your requirement, i would say that as per the guidelines of applying for obc category, there are certain rules and regulations, in which if you have income above 8 lakhs you are not eligible for obc category.
There are many terms and conditions for applying under a specific category to avail its reservations. Chevk the official law to get confirmation.
