i have EWS certificate for 2023-24 year i dont want to apply for EWS in 2024-25 year but i want EWS certificate for 2025 -26 year is it possible ? or we need to upgrade every year??

EWS certificate is valid only for one financial year (from 1st April to 31st March).
So, if you have an EWS certificate for 2023-24, it cannot be used for 2024-25 or 2025-26.
You need to apply for a fresh EWS certificate every year whenever you need it.
It cannot be carried forward or skipped for one year and then renewed later.
So yes, you must get a new certificate issued for 2025-26 when required.

Generally it is based on your family income if you havent made it 24-25 its okay you can make a new one.
Since your last certificate expired on 31 March 2024.To get a certificate for 2025–26, you will need to start the application process again as a fresh applicant and submit the required documents for the 2024–25 financial year.
