i have financial problems in my family should i apply for btech or bsc in maths. my interest is to join defence forces?

Bsc in maths is a disciplinary subject it deals with the theory and depth in maths while your btech will deal with the application of maths. Btech will deal with some disciplinary lesson for a few months at time it increases or its just for 1 sem. That's not the case in BSC. Bsc goes way more deeper and you need to hav lots of patience and dedication towards it.

With this degree u can go in the army of you like ie. by clearing entrance exam ie. CDSC or by NCC ' C' certificate if you have.

About you financial issues, bsc is a bit cheaper than btech. If you apply for a government or semi government aided college you will be offered many scholarships etc.. soget Youself admission in a government colleges the fees are much less compared to private institutions. Some of the colleges offer ncc to get Youself enrolled in it that will help you alot with your self discipline.
