Hey Sudhakar!
You are eligible to appear for NEET 2018.
As per the new NEET 2018 Eligibility rules, candidates must have undertaken 2 years of regular and continuous study of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology at 10+2 level. This means that your Class XI and Class XII must have been pursued in consecutive years with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in both.
You are sharing that you have completed Class XI and Class XII in consecutive years. The year of passing in Class X has no bearing on this. So having a break between Class X and Class XI is totally permissible.
Just ensure that you are within the given age criteria. Only candidates born on or after May 7, 1993 and on or before January 1, 2002 will be eligible to apply for NEET. As long as you fulfill the age criteria, you can go ahead and confidently appear for NEET 2018.
All the best!
