I have gate 2021 score of 499(CSE)(SC) I currently do not have any placement in hand. Is there chance for me to get in a good institute? i have one year education gap. Should i drop 1 more year to give GATE exam again next year?

Considering the previous year cut off you have chances of getting seat in the following institutes
- IIT, Delhi: Computer Technology (slight chances)
- IIT, Bombay: Computer Science and Engineering (slight chances)
- IIT, Kanpur: Computer Science
- NIT, Warangal: Computer Science & Information Security
- NIT, Surathkal: Computer Science & Engineering - Information Security
Cut off changes every year depending on number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and number of seats available etc.
