i have got 118 marks in jee mains 2019 .can i get adm. in thaper college in cs

Thapar University consider only those candidates who meets the eligibility criteria of JEE MAINS, i.e. should have cleared the minimum cut off. This year cutoff for various category in terms of percentile is :-

1) GENERAL(COMMON RANK LIST)- 89.75

2)GENERAL EWS(ECONOMICALLY WEAKER SECTION,family Income less than 8 lakhs per annum) - 78.21

3)OBC(Non Creamy Layer) - 74.31

4) Schedule Caste(SC) - 54.01

5)Schedule Tribe(ST) - 44.33

6)PWD - 0.11

The institute then prepare a combined merit list consisting of students of Punjab and outside Punjab on the basis of their AIR(ALL INDIA RANK).

Last year cut off for CS for Punjab and outside Punjab students was

1)First phase counselling

CS - LAST RANK(53677) Marks of Last Rank(103) [For PUNJAB Students]

CS - LAST RANK(24741) Marks of Last Rank(137) [For NON-PUNJAB Students]

2)Second phase counselling

CS - LAST RANK(160611) Marks of Last Rank(63) [For PUNJAB Students]

CS - LAST RANK(38826) Marks of Last Rank(117) [For NON-PUNJAB Students]

Based on past year trend if you are from Punjab you stand a good chance,if not there are bleak chances as cutoff vary year to year
