i have got 158 /200 in ntse from general category Andhra Pradesh . what is the expected cutoff

Cutoff for this year for Andhra Pradesh is 164 for general category.

Since the difficulty level of the paper this year was lower as compared to the difficulty level of 2018's question paper and various other factors influence the cutoff of an examination like Total number of candidates appearing for the exam, reservation criteria etc..

Hello Bobbala,  NTSE cut off marks got change every year depending on various factors like number of students appeared for exam,  number of scholarships offered for this year,  maximum marks achieve by student and many more factors. But you can predict your chance of selection based on last year cut off. And as per the last year cut off students with more than 164 marks got selected for next stage.  Your marks are in range of last year cut off,  so you may get selected for next stage of NTSE.

but remember Cut off changes every year,  so don't be sad. Wait for final result.
